Team of the Brave

Oleksandr Bondarenko
Oleksandr BondarenkoCo-founder of the Svyatoslav the Brave Foundation"In the first days of the full-scale invasion, we founded Svyatoslav the Brave Foundation and immediately started helping the military and civilians, primarily in my native Kharkiv and Chernihiv regions. We sent trucks with food, medicines, and other things to the places where it was needed in the first place. These are hundreds of tons of humanitarian aid. None of us were trained to volunteer; we all came from different business areas and joined together to help because we can always do it better together. Thanks to the skills gained over many years in business, we have organized a systematic approach to the foundation's work to meet the specific needs of our military and civilians. So, all our donors can view all requests and reports at any time. I became a volunteer and donor to our foundation."

Olena KuryachaHead of Communications at Svyatoslav the Brave FoundationSince the beginning of the full-scale war, I found myself in Lviv. For the first time, I went to a huge warehouse outside the city to load our drivers with humanitarian aid, which was then sent to Chernihiv, Kharkiv, Sumy, and Donetsk regions. That's how I became a volunteer and spent all my savings to help the Ukrainian Armed Forces. We need victory, no other options!

Svitlana GrinbergProject ManagerWhen I returned to Ukraine after living in Israel for several years, the first thing I did when I got on the plane was to delete the air raid alert app from my phone. A few years later, I have this app on my phone again. My family and I lost our home during the shelling of Dnipro, and we miraculously survived. Now I understand more than ever the critical importance of providing timely assistance to people affected by the war.
